Objective:
At the conclusion of the unit, the students will be able to describe the important aspects of the California Gold Rush and identify the key characters and important events. We will know we have achieved this skill can have an active class discussion on the different methods the miners used to mine for gold and when we complete the unit exam with a minimumof 80 percent proficiency.

Blog- Many people left their homes and traveled west to California to mine for gold. There were some miners that got wealthy but there were other miners that were not so lucky. Watch the video clip listed under Assignment Three page and then post a comment to the blog. |
